I have a favor to ask of you all.... THE HEARING AIDE needs more reviewers. Day by day, I'm receiving more and more CDs to review, and I could honestly use the help.

I'm looking for people who will review CDs that are sent to them within a week of receipt. The good news is, you can keep the CD and do whatever you want with it (add it to your collection, trade it in, even stick it up your ass!) once you complete the review.

If you're interested, please submit a link or send me a review you've done, as well as any types of music/bands you're interested in. I'm looking for a wide variety here, and would actually welcome people who have interest in music outside of rock and would venture into electronic and hip hop and have strong knowledge of those genres.

Hell yeah. Making history at THE HEARING AIDE. Today, we debuted our first Comics review, a review of the excellent Superman: The Red Son Elseworlds mini-series, asking the question: "What would have happened if Superman was raised in the Soviet Union instead of Kansas?

Hell is raised, indeed.

Anyways, there will be a lot more comics reviews coming more often. Many of us here at the AIDE are comic dorks, and thought it was only natural to start including one of our other loves.

So yeah. I've been talking about relaunching this site for a while. It's actually been in development for it since before 2004. In fact, if you saw the Best of 2003 feature, you'll notice a striking resemblence to the new design, etc.

Anyways, I'm pretty proud of this here new website. I've brought aboard some new reviewers, and there should be a bunch more reviews coming more often, with a lot more variety. Thanks for waiting, feel free to spread the love.

This could be REALLY awesome. For those who don't know what Wanted is, here's a brief recap. All the superheroes are dead, killed by all the supervillians and the world has been brainwashed to think that everything is fine and that superheroes and supervillians never existed, in order to make life easier for themselves.

Wesley Gibson (who not only looks like Eminem) is the illegitimate son of The Killer, the world's greatest assassin. His father is killed in a coup, and Wesley is given a choice to join the underworld of crime that his father once headed. Wesley goes through emmense amounts of training to become the new Killer.

This is all brought to you by Mike Millar, who's made great strides in comics writing such titles as The Authority, The Ultimates, and Ultimate X-Men.

Getting Eminem to play this role, would be perfect.
